On Site Delivery Model

Services are delivered ‘on-site’ – at the client location – by an expert USSL team. Entire project management, from the initial project study, implementation, to maintenance and support, is performed in continuous association with the client, at the client site. Our experts are familiar with the challenges of working on-site, and can provide an effective operating environment conductive to closer client interaction. On-Site Delivery model is beneficial for projects that involve constant changes necessitating continuous interaction with clients. or those that demand specialist expertise.

Offshore Delivery Model

Entire Project Development, from initial Study phase to Testing, is carried out at USSL’s offshore facility. Project management and communication aspects are controlled by Program Managers who are the internal client representatives. An expert team is deployed at the offshore development center to execute the project using proven process methodologies, which ensures cost-effectiveness ad on-the-time deliverables.
The project is handled by a Project Lead who communicates the time-to-value details of the team to the client. USSL also employes a Project Manager who works in direct association with the client, to supervise the project.
The client assumes responsibility for the entire project in this type of delivery model while USSL provides only the infrastructure and resources required for the project. Offshore Delivery can be adopted when project objectives are clearly defined and the possibility of deviation does not exist. It is ideal for projects that require constant enhancements.
Though Off shore Deliver model comes with a detailed project plan, we realize that there is always a possibility that unpredicted requirements might develop during the course of execution. Our vast experience and resources enable us to equip ourselves to handle any such out-of-the-plan developments effectively.

Hybrid Model

This delivery model combines the advantages of both On-Site and Off-Shore models providing optimal efficiency in terms of resource and costs. An USSL expert team deployed on-site interacts constantly with the client while the team at the offshore development centre executes the project in coordination with the team on-site. Dedicated Development Model with Single Skill Set

USSL provides client with dedicated infrastructure, expertise and logistics support for a single set of skills. Management of the infrastructure is handled by the client. We provide complete support for infrastructure management and provide resources for handling your day-to-day tasks. The client can select his team through interviews with resources, which are arranged by USSL. The selected team is accountable to the client. USSL offers a discount of 30% on project remuneration, which is paid on a monthly basis, and more than 172+ collective hours for the project.

Dedicated Development Model with Multiple Skill Set

USSL provides client with dedicated infrastructure, expertise and logistics support for multiple skill sets in this model. USSL assigns an offshore Project Manager who coordinates with the client or the client representative, and works with different teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. We provide complete support for infrastructure management and provide resources for handling your day-to-day tasks. The client can select his team through interviews with resources, which are arranged by USSL. The selected team is accountable to the client The pricing format is similar to the Single Skill Set model, with the exception of an additional 25%. More than 172+ collective hours are allocated for the project.

Hourly Rate Model

Hourly Rate Model is ideal for trial projects, on-time projects, and for projects whose goals and specifications are clearly defined and the possibility of deviation from the project is unlikely. This Model is commitment-free and flexible; client gets access to diverse expertise and different levels of resources – high-end, middle-level and lower-level – on demand, and pays only for the usage of the resources. This Model offers greater flexibility in resource change, and provides optimal cost benefits and scheduled deliverables.
Hourly rates vary according to the services provided and are remunerated for on a monthly basis. The project is managed by our Project Manager. We ensure transparency in operations, which enables clients exercise greater control over the project.

Fixed Price Model

Fixed Time Fixed Budget’ delivery model is a on-cost model in which a fixed cost is assigned for a project based on its requirements. This Model is employed for projects that come with definite scope and requirements. USSL’s expert team performs an in-depth multi-level analysis of client requirements to eliminate possibilities of alteration to project specifications during the course of the project. We implement and manage the project using our Project Manager. This delivery model gives client better fixed cost and time advantage as well as scheduled deliverables.

Process Methodology

USSL’s process methodology is well-defined, yet flexible to meet diverse requirements of clients. It derives its strength from its structure, which is a judicious mix of standard techniques employed in process management and best approaches established through several yeards of experience in project development.

Custom Software Development Methodology

US Software Ltd follows a full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Our SDLC process includes the following phases:

Defining Project Scope

This phase involves a through study of the project to comprehend its requirements and determine the project goals. Our software development team interacts closely with the client to acquire insight into the project domain, general and specific project-related requirements of the client, current practices and client goals. The project agenda and the general schedule for product delivery are decided during this phase. The development team then formalizes the objectives of the project, and draws up complete specification report for software development, which is sent to the client for approval.

Defining Functional Specifications:

Development phase sets in with the process of designing and creation of technical documentation for the project. This is a crucial phase where the software development model is shaped. The goals of the project are refined, updated and finalized for implementation. An elaborate technical analysis of the project is performed to define specifications for the software. Functional specifications for the software, from the elemental to the apex, are defined in this stage. It is in this phase where it is decided as to what features are to be included in the software and what are not to be.
A Technical Design Document (TDD) is worked out. A prototype of the proposed software is built, which enables client to review the product and permits incorporation of any required changes in the early development stage itself. The development team charts the design process, prepares project implementation plans, evaluates costs, and draws up schedules for the various deliverable.

Initial Software Development:

Based on the client-approved prototype, the actual software development is put into motion. USSL uses a combination of waterfall and spiral process methodologies to build the solution modules. Our Development model allows for parallel online product monitoring by the client as it evolves, which prevents any possible product deviations. Once modules are developed in accordance with the project plan, they are integrated and subsequently tested; a user guide for the software is created.


Our Software Development Team prepares a ‘Test Plan’ describing the various levels of testing, including unit testing, integration testing and system testing, for the software. A team of highly-experienced testers examine the real-time operation of the software. Rigorous Testing methodologies are employed to resolve and prioritize bugs, and ensure that the software is robust. The results of the Testing process are recorded, and once they are approved by our testers and the client, the software is readied for deliverance.

Product Deployment

The product is incorporated into client business. USSL team deploys the software, familiarizes client environment with the software, and acquires final approval from the client on the project.
